Come on @irishrail Either make them edible or eliminate. Or how about redesigning ticket machine #UI to ask if you want a receipt for environmental reasons. They could at least meet them halfway by putting a bin there.
Shut up with that bin talk now.
Or how about our good and noble citizenry stop throwing things on the ground and have a little respect for the environment we all have to live in.
Taking responsibility? Psshaw!
Irish people are very dirty, I mean how difficult would it be to put those receipts in the bin.
there are no bins, it’s ridiculous
Put it in your pocket, bag or hold it in your hand….its crazy if there are no bins but thats hardly an excuse to throw it on the ground…a bit of personal responsibility is whats needed.
Are leap cards beyond their capabilities?
Yes. They can’t seem to do an integrate public transport card.
Could it be that the more unfortunates are looking for change and dumping them out?
Making them edible is a great idea. Not that passengers on the DART aren’t well fed enough….
They’d have to be vegan, dairy free, gluten free and sustainable.
Ah here Dub
We’re not all that bad
Could they not update their technology to give people the option to have tickets on their phones, like with boarding passes? Would be a major reduction in waste!
