      Nice.

A child is groomed, runs away from home to be repeatedly raped and impregnated by a paedophile, and now has her image splattered across the front of a satirical magazine. It’s not clear to me that she has committed any crime, nor that there is any legal mechanism to prevent her returning to the UK.

I can’t help wondering if the narrative would be the same if we were discussing Deborah from Chiswick instead of Shamima from Bethnal Green.

Fair point. I would prefer to see her to get brought back and treated fairly and justly and maybe one day brought around to a different point of view. I do think the cover is satirising tabloid coverage more than her, though, but point taken.

This just popped up on the BBC news feed: Shamima Begum, who joined Islamic State in Syria aged 15, to lose her UK citizenship, family’s lawyer says

That’s a good start. They should now investigate her actions abroad. They need to stamp out this fanatical Islam in UK which made their own citizens turn into terrorist enemies. They could start by promoting modernist Muslims who want to reform the religion into something less full of violent instruction and tribal hatred.

Revoke her citizenship, then investigate. Gotcha.

Maybe stop bombing the poopy out of countries full of brown people would be a good move. What do you think?

The right wing press jumps all over samples from a single interview where a girl / woman equates Manchester with Syria.

I have no idea what happened in Syria, do you? What does the term ‘radicalisation’ even mean? The found something online, what did they find?

They’re not wrong. She’s easily as famous as someone off Big Brother or Love Island and once you’ve done that, you’re in line for a slot on “Celebrity” Big Brother or Love Island, or even the hedy hights of Dancing on Ice or The Jump.

Yeah, a brain dead like her would easily slip into the BB house.

She won’t get back to the UK, one of the woke scandi’s will take her under humaniterian grounds.

      Great cover.

I’m not sure about the decision to publish an image of the new Mum touching a bare chested man

    But anyway
Not my job t’ worry about Private Eye

Staying in this Saturday Ray D’Arcy Show

She’s better off in Syria unless she can find an Irish relative and claim one of our passports on return to the UK. Britisih citizenship is now worth zero.
