They’ve Made Contact

National Lottery CEO Dermot Griffin said: “We are delighted the winner has made contact. This is an incredible win for an Irish EuroMillions player. And a record win for the National Lotttery.

“This has been an incredibly lucky period for players on the island of Ireland …The luck of the Irish is definitely in the air.”

The luck of one Irish person, probably very elderly, cranky with huge savings, is in the air, you mean?

  1. Spaghetti Hoop

One can almost hear the tap-tap-tap of begging letters being typed.

    Nice win.
(Spend it wisely my old aunt who forgets who her relatives are from time to time and needs reminding.)

  2. Col

Thomas Byrne TD seems to think the ticket was sold in his constituency (Meath East).
Best of luck to the winner, get in touch with a security expert!

With that money you could just stick the 70million in an account for the sole purpose of security. You’d have better security than the Queen of England.

  3. Increasing Displacement

This would be so much better for so many split 100-500 or so ways
Life changing mortgage paying money either way

But instead this one family got 175mill…who needs that?
    Nobody no how
