It’s grim news as Cork boffins say
The robots are coming to stay
There’ll be no cause for cheer
When they come over here
As they’ll quickly take your job away

Would have thought Leinster House would be their first stop.
Ask a checkout lady. Automation doesn’t always mean robots.
But suppose the same boffins create
A robot designed to fellate.
Those remaining employed
Might be less annoyed
And will happily stay working late
This is a really interesting discussion with Andrew Yang on the future of jobs being taken by automation, and moving America towards a Universal Basic income. We need Irish politicians to seriously look into this. It will hit fast and hard.

Nice! You could tell to f off without causing offence.
What will happen to John Moynes when they invent a machine that can churn out Limericks at the touch of a button.
There once was a man called Moynes
who used to enjoy
creating Limericks at will.
Now there’s a new toy
that churns it like swill,
making Moynes a sad boy.
