Eamon Dunphy
Saturday night.
On the Ray D’Arcy Show.
Fergus McCormack, of RTÉ, writes:
Dancing With the Stars’ Demi Isaac Oviawe and dance partner Kai Widdrington will join Ray to talk about life after elimination…
Eamon Dunphy will be in studio to discuss the Republic of Ireland’s new management set-up and our chances of qualifying for the Euros, his love for Liverpool FC and what’s exercising him at the moment…
…Victor Bayda tells Ray about his remarkable journey from Moscow to Kerry. A fluent Irish speaker, Victor has just been appointed as the Irish language officer in a South Kerry Gaeltacht…
Ray will also be joined by the parents of award-winning Swedish journalist Kim Wall, who was brutally murdered on a submarine in Denmark in 2017.
And we have a live performance from the hit musical Jersey Boys ahead of its return to the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre next month.
The Ray D’Arcy Show is on Saturday night at 9.40pm on RTÉ One
How is Dunphy still allowed to spoof about football?
Punditry has moved on so much since his heyday.
Chancer.
He was a spoofer and chancer in his heyday too. Everyone thought he was ‘a gas man’. Thing is, he’s got older, less of a gas man and ageism has kicked in. Trouble is, Ray Darcy doesn’t care.
Doesn’t even bother to learn the names of the players he’s trying to be controversial about anymore.
What’s that?
My favourite pundit and midfielder ever?
Souness, since you ask…
‘He lacks guile in the final third.’
for some reason he seems to play up to this image. he talks much more sense on his podcast, the stand.
Tried listening to it once.
He was talking about drug gangs… The irony.
RTE entertainment sets the bar low and this show fails to clear even it.
It limbo dances under it. With no style
More of a drunken belly crawl with occasional farting.
