A Limerick A Day

at

The skull of “The Crusader” (above) taken from a crypt in St. Michan’s church, Dublin

The guards have recovered the head
Of someone eight hundred years dead
Which was stolen last week
By a vandalous clique
Who should sleep on a hard Mountjoy bed

Glad to hear this, a terrible way to treat both the body of a human and such a historical artifact as well.

Hopefully, but sadly, they will upgrade their security as this is a powerful piece of our history and needs to be protected from scum who think its all a laugh.
