Dog owners and their pets demonstrating in opposition to the newly-adopted, punitive dog ‘off the leash‘ bye-law (4.7) by Fingal County Council which restricts ‘no Lead activity’ to designated, fenced-in areas and specific times (in smaller parks).

    “Do I look dangerous” No, you look perfectly sweet. But I thought we’d been over this, this bylaw is not aimed at responsible pet owners with red setters, it’s aimed at the langers with bulldog-crosses who couldn’t give a fupp about their pet or other people’s pets or indeed other people.

      Precisely. Can’t really have one rule for Fluffypants and another for Cujo. As for those pictures, not 100% sure I’d trust the pug in the tartan fleece.

        how about if you can produce a licence that shows recal training,
        or the chip in your dog shows he passed his recal test,
        wardens can have a little scanner

      The langers will ignore this law just as they ignore most other laws and the good dogs and owners suffer.

        You’re right. I couldn’t give a toss about dog lovers. If it were up to me, all these nervous wheezing inbred monstrosities (I’m still taking about the dogs) should all be destroyed. But what will happen is the parkies , just like the warden cowards in the phoenix park ,where they ignore those polish family smelly meat cookouts gazebos because they are afraid of groups of big 6 1/2 foot lads chugging cans. Will target the little auldwans/auldlads who let there harmless fuzzball off for a run. And pretend they didn’t notice the scumbag with some growling status symbol doing the exact same thing.

        that’s the point she wouldn’t go near anyone else with out my permission
        (+ she told me she thinks Irish dogs are a bit bonkers, over excited loons, her words )

          I can honestly say my dog is trained better than 99.99% of dogs, I’ve trained many dogs. But having a dog on a lead in a park is what responsible owners do, including me. No matter how well trained a dog is, It is an animal with animal instincts. It can just easily one day decide not to listen to you.

            do you think it’s normal for a dog never to get a run in tho ?
            I can honestly say in 13 years she has always listened, she needed to , traffic etc, sitting g outside the oddshop that wouldn’t let her in

            isn’t it a case of the many being punished bacause of few bad owners ?
            it’s dogs that are not properly socialised that don’t behave

    It’s absolute savagery.. usual Irish overreaction.. just grow up and deal with the problem people and their problem dogs and leave the rest of the dog world in peace..
