€500 A Month For ‘Living Room Spot’

at

Parnell Street, Dublin 1

An ad on Daft.ie sez:

We’re renting our living room spot where there is a double bed sofa for yourself, large and renovated kitchen and 1 bathroom for the 3 people living in the apartment (including you).

The rent is 500 plus a month of deposit, plus basic bills: electricity every two months, monthly internet and some home essentials as rubbish bags, chemicals for cleaning, etc.

…Please, ONLY email if you agree with the terms above explained.”

Sigh.

Looks good, but we’ll need to agree a (ahem) a sign for personal quality time.

The way it’s worded, it makes it sound as if you have to be large to rent it.

    What housing crisis?

All these people whinging about this stuff need to grow up and get a job as a well paid rich person. You only have yourselves to blame.

Fair play to whoever is renting their couch for €500 a month, if they didn’t do it someone else would and they’d feel stupid.

All these scroungers looking for free couches to live in, the handout brigade expecting “quality of life”, get over yourselves.

They need to make it illegal to rent out living rooms as bedrooms unless they are full private with a door.
