aye proof of how harmful this conspiracy theory sheeeyite is. It’s malicious disinformation.

          1. Bodger

I don’t follow anything. If you want a reasonable chat about this without insults and the usual I’m up for that. It’s quite fascinating and you might gain from the experience.

          2. Mezcal

So is Lord of the Rings, y’know, but has the added quality of not inciting violence in crackpots.

          3. Bodger

I certainly trust the autists as they are not emotionally involved and could care less about Trump, Hillary, etc. Their grasp of numbers, gematria and logical thinking is unreal.

          4. Tony

Or are they just obsessively, compulsively fixated with patterns and sequences – having little comprehension of how they relate to the real world?

          5. Mezcal

And, of course, they are all excellent drivers. Excellent drivers. They don’t drive on Mondays though. Never on a Monday.

          6. Rep

“I certainly trust the autists as they are not emotionally involved and could care less about Trump, Hillary, etc. ”

Could you expand exactly on how the follows of Q couldn’t care less about Trump & Hillary, etc when it is one the very basic parts of the whole thing?

          7. Bodger

Rep, I’m not talking about the followers of Q who are mostly but not all Trump supporters. I am talking about the people who run the chans who mostly identify as autistic. The politics of this does not interest them, as they will tell you fairly sharply.

          8. Toe Up

“And, of course, they are all excellent drivers. Excellent drivers. They don’t drive on Mondays though. Never on a Monday.”

Of course I’m not wearing my underwear.

          9. Nigel

Q is a cult that worships Trump. In supporting Q you’re supporting Trump. If someone promoting Q tells you fairly sharply they are not interested in the politics, they are lying because this is literally all politics. At best it means they feel shielded from the real-world consequences, or stand to benefit from them somehow.

          10. Nigel

Like I was waiting the ‘next couple of weeks’ for something big to go down and vindicate Q since you told me to, when, a month ago? But now I’m waiting for Pence to be arrested for treason by the end of March, that’s sure to be definitive, and worth the wait.

        1. McVitty

Good man. I see some TDS in the interactions above – if you are right of Stalin, you’re “he who shall not be named”.

“It encompasses a vast number of things including an attempted coup on Trump, illegal spying by Obama and who really controls the tech giants. This will all be proved utter nonsense or true in the next 18 months.”

          I hope you are right…

In the meantime, the shadow-banning will continue: https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-03-18/twitter-admits-shadowbanning-lisa-page-tweet-federalist-co-founder-keep-people-safe

  1. martco

well if it was me I’d deal with the likes of him Law Abiding Citizen style. see how fn smart he is then.

    1. rotide

He murdered the head of a mafia family. I don’t think he’s going to need your vigilante fantasy to help him into an early grave

  2. Andyourpointiswhatexactly?

I can just see Bodger zooming in so he can copy them onto his hand with a nice Bic biro. In green, though.

    1. Bodger

For nonsense a lot of people are going to a lot of trouble to discredit the whole qnomenon. The beauty of Q is this: we will know if it is credible when arrests, etc. are made and fake if not.

          1. Starina

I’m sorry, Bodger, it really sounds like you’re fetishising autistic people as some sort of super-human information processors.

          2. Bodger

They are not clouded by partisan rage and seem quite brilliant. I speak as someone on the far less formidably intelligent end of the spectrum.

          3. Lobster

So if I, random person on the internet, were to say that I’m on the spectrum, and superdy dooperdy smart, and that this qanon poo is a load of tooty pants, you’d take me at my word too?
Have you actually met autistic people? They are fully human, rather than fancy emotionless computers.
Also…. How soon do the arrests need to happen for it to count as proof? Does it need to be specific people arrested, for which crimes?

          4. Bodger

Lobster, No offence is intended. The autists, who are called such because they say they identify as autistic offline and that’s how they like to be known on the chans, have been working those forums long before Q started. They are especially good with aircraft flight patterns and maps and what have you. The arrests would need to start soon, before the end of March, to count as proof I would say. Attempted coup. Sedition/Treason. The first big arrest may even be…Pence. Now? Didn’t expect that did you?

          5. realPolithicks

Bodger I hate to say it but you’re starting to come across as a bit nutty on this stuff, your last comment there just doesn’t make any sense.

          6. Bodger

realpolithicks, probably best for you to go on to 8chan and see what I mean. I’m trying to articulate it as best as I can. Cool it with the nutty stuff. Let’s deal with each other with courtesy. There is a competing narrative to the one you have been getting from the news for the last couple of years. It encompasses a vast number of things including an attempted coup on Trump, illegal spying by Obama and who really controls the tech giants. This will all be proved utter nonsense or true in the next 18 months.

          7. realPolithicks

Bodger, I apologize for the “nutty” part of the comment, but otherwise I stand by what I said. As for going on 8chan frankly I’m not interested in what people on these sites have to say, I don’t go in for conspiracy theories and I believe they do serious damage to peoples psyche.

          8. Bodger

I understand. Back in the ’90s, I wrote a scathing piece about conspiracy theorists without doing any research. I imagine I strike you as a dribbling fool. My point about the chans is that the autists aren’t conspiracy theorists or have no interest in conspiracies as such. They solve puzzles.

          9. realPolithicks

” I imagine I strike you as a dribbling fool simpleton.”

Not at all Bodger, just the opposite in fact which is why I find this all so puzzling. To be honest sometimes I think you’re just yanking our chains…

          10. Starina

8chan? The site so riddled with child pornography and neo-nazis that THQNordic had to retract their AMA from that site after all of their players recoiled in horror?

          11. Tom

Yes its a bit irresponsible to suggest people visit that site. They could genuinely lose their job if they had a look at it on a work machine.

      1. edalicious

        So like Schrödinger’s Conspiracy theory?

Using that logic, it’s impossible to call it fake. You only have one outcome which yields a definite result. If no arrests are made, you could indefinitely keep saying (like you have been doing so far) “the arrests are coming”. It’s a bit like how religions have built-in get-out clauses like how God will never prove he exists because he requires one to faith in him. It’s a neat way of never having to admit to yourself that you’re wrong.

        1. Bodger

The sell by date is November 2020. I suspect this year will be a very busy year that (bong hit) few of us will forget. We are already seeing the Russia/Trump collusion narrative collapsing.

          1. edalicious

Yeah, but Bodger, you’ve been saying the same thing for literally YEARS and nothing ever happens.

            “This time next year, Rodney…”

          2. Bodger

edalicious, I have been somewhat…premature on occasion, but now you have a deadline to hold me to. Also I did predict Brexit and Trump’s election, in fairness.

          3. rotide

            Edalicious is entirely correct.

initially your deadline was “the next few weeks”, now it has switched to 2020.

by the time that deadline sails part, you’ll have a new time frame

          4. Tom

Pro Trump and pro Russia. Nice.

Does it not concern you that your beliefs so often align with white supremacist and ethno nationalists?

          5. Bodger

I’m not pro-Trump and completely neutral on Russia. If your girl hadn’t nobbled my boy (Crazy Bernie) we wouldn’t be having this chat.

          6. Bodger

We gave Gemma a platform because her ticket was anti-corruption (inc the media) and because she was being cyber-bullied by many in the media in a manner we found unedifying. If it’s any consolation, Tom, she doesn’t like us today any more than you do.

          7. rotide

How was she being cyber bullied?

she said things on Twitter and she was held to account. That’s what free speech is ( the free speech you claim we don’t have)

          8. Junkface

But the Mueller report has not yet been released. Also there have been a number of arrests circling the entire Trump team. Manafort for example has lots of ties to Russia. Don Jr admitted that most of their money comes through Russia, because US banks won’t deal with Trump, he went bankrupt twice! Trump is a Russian asset, the FBI are preparing a long term case to prosecute Trump for years of dodgy deals with Russian mobsters and former Oligarchs. It just won’t happen quickly while he is president. It will take place when his term is over.

          9. edalicious

            “her ticket was anti-corruption”

Funny that. Seems to be a bit of a pattern for right-wing populist politicians this past century.

          10. Lilly

Bernie will be back! Give him time. Why did Gemma turn on BS? You were more than fair to her.

      2. Starina

“For nonsense a lot of people are going to a lot of trouble to discredit”

That’s because it fuels fools who aren’t good at deciphering reality and some of them end up killing because of it.

        1. A Person

You did not give Gemma a platform. You shamelessly promoted her. And you have yet to disassociate from her. Yet you bring up this conspiracy theory crap all the time about Trump? Is this just click bait?

          1. Bodger

We supported her stand against corruption it’s true. But we also offered the same exposure to any of the other candidates and said so on the ‘telly’. The only two to respond were Jimmy Smyth, who was our preferred candidate because he has a lovely character and is a superb ‘axeman’ but he pulled out of the nomination process, and Kevin Sharkey, whom we interviewed for a good 45 minutes and invited him again on the telly many times but he was busy.

          2. A Person

For some reason I cannot reply to your comment. Regardless, you interviewed Gemma, how many times? Also, how can you have a preferred candidate? Surely as a media outlet you should be neutral? Isn’t this you main allegation against the main stream media?

          3. Bodger

A Person, you are holding a media outlet that comprises three people and a dog to a standard you expect (but don’t get) from RTÉ who also charge you for the privilege. We respond well to people who are kind to us and we said publicly at the time – to Gemma herself – that we were backing Jimmy for a nomination.

  3. theo kretschmar schuldorff

Na, that’s the alien gobbledygook from Arrivals.
Code to his defense lawyer (who must be Amy Adams)

  4. eoin

Hah, the suspect who allegedly whacked the boss of an Italian mafia family wearing a Celtic shirt. Ethnic troll level: elite plus.

    1. Papi

Or prison garb. Given he is a prisoner. or “prisoner” as “you” “like” to “quote”.

      1. johnny

-it was an extradition hearing,he’s still referred to as a suspect,he waived his rights and is now in protective custody,he was picked up in NJ-extradited to NY.
-to put it midly he’s going have a few issues in jail, but its still unclear if he’s going plead not guilty-this was NOT a trail, but, but an extradition hearing.
-but he’s not referred to anywhere as a PRISONER-who even uses that term in 2019 and certainly not for a suspect in a murder.

          1. jusayinlike

A prisoner signifies post trial and sentencing, in custody pending for everything before.

  5. George

The suggestion that “the authorities” have written this on his hand and asked him to display it in order to discredit a conspiracy theory is one of the weirdest most paranoid conspiracy theories I have ever heard. Why is it hard to believe that some guy can’t believe what is written on his hand? Occam’s razor.

    1. Bodger

George, if that really is the ‘weirdest most paranoid conspiracy theories’ you have ever heard it’s going to to be a very long day.

      1. Rob

“The suggestion that “the authorities” have written this on his hand and asked him to display it in order to discredit a conspiracy theory is one of the weirdest most paranoid conspiracy theories I have ever heard. ”

Is that what you are suggesting?

        1. George

Bodger wrote above “Not an attempt to discredit by the authorities?” – implying that the writing on this man’s hand is an attempt to discredit a conspiracy theory.

          1. George

I’d rather you just directly outline a series of events that would lead to writing on murder suspects being used to discredit a conspiracy theory. I mean step by step how might that have happened.

          2. Wellness

I believe the “deep state ” is fiddling with the incel intern at BS headquarters.
            #freedom of expression

  6. Tom

Removing part of my comment where I called a_______a_________. Why are you standing up for these people?

    1. Bodger

Tom, we are trying to stay out of court. In America, you can call someone a Nazi (For example…I realise that’s not what you said) without consequence. But here we would have to have to prove their membership of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party. We don’t have free speech.

      1. Tom

She says it herself in her own videos. Newsworthy don’t shy away from the truth on Twitter.

        1. Bodger

Tom, we fervently believe in freedom of expression and try to cater to all voices. But sometimes – usually on a Friday late afternoon – we have to deal with the legal repercussions which can get pretty heavy.

      2. George

You wouldn’t actually, because no reasonable person would think you were accusing them of being a member of a political party that doesn’t exist.

  7. Ron

Watch them start to use this lone gunman as an excuse to censor speech on the internet. like the Patriot Act after 9/11.. they will use it as an excuse to regulate online. It’s the one platform that exposes political lies and corruption and they will do anything to control it?

So I presume all guns will be illegal after these events everywhere, yeah?

  8. rotide

bodger, have you watched Behind The Curve on Netflix?

I highly recommend it for many reasons, not least that it espouses that we should educate and not ridicule people who believe in things that are demonstrably insane.

  9. Ding Dong the Frill is Dead

This is a lad that spent far too much time on the internet
And is only adding to the intrigue about himself

I wouldn’t be reading any more into it

    BTW
There must be limos of big ticket lawyers watching this lad
    Hoping for the call up
So the chances of him being forced to display this message

    Ha!
    Right

  10. Lilly

The mafia boss sounded decent for a mafia boss: no history of violence, devoted to his family, kept a low profile, never ordered a hit… So the young gun shot the mobster because he told him to stay away from his daughter. Is that the story?

    1. George

You don’t get to be a mafia boss without violence that’s how it works. Any non-violent crime family would get ousted by a violent one as criminals don’t have the protection of the police. Therefore someone violent must be providing the protection. It is explained quite clearly in Goodfellas:

“Hundreds of guys depended on Paulie and he got a piece of everything they made. And it was tribute, just like in the old country, except they were doing it here in America. And all they got from Paulie was protection from other guys looking to rip them off. And that’s what it’s all about. That’s what the FBI could never understand. That what Paulie and the organization does is offer protection for people who can’t go to the cops. That’s it. That’s all. They’re like the police department for wiseguys.”

  11. Clampers Outside!

    OK, straight question…

    What is Q / Qanon?
(in non-rambling point form if anyone answers, ta)

    1. deluded

Q-anon started with vague meandering half-formed statements that, like Nostradamus, can mean whatever you want them to mean. Amazingly, the core belief is that Trump is not a two-bit charlatan but is secretly, selflessly, heroically, working to save America.

      1. Martco

        ah
that’s one of the traps with the yoke @Clampers
if you even get into the basic googling it’ll wreck your head
you’d be far better off enjoying the evening & fresh air with a walk in the park
        @deluded has described it succinctly
just another internet bound load of bllx

    2. f_lawless

my best guess is that it’s “psyops” by US intelligence services in the form of a message forum that’s designed to confuse and distract – at least, if it didn’t start out that way, it’s now been infiltrated. I’ve never given it any time to be honest.
I find Caitlin Johnstone generally has a level headed take on these kinds of things. Assange and Wikileaks have a similar view. Assange: “(It’s) probably a black PR campaign amplified by CIA contractors to reduce the support for WikiLeaks.”
      From Johnstones article:
” a ‘Pied Piper’ operation. What I meant by this, is that the operation exists to round up people that are otherwise dangerous to the Deep State (because they are genuinely opposed to it) usurp time & attention, & trick them into serving its aims.”
      https://medium.com/@caityjohnstone/wikileaks-calls-qanon-a-likely-pied-piper-operation-e5c4f4fac4a

      1. deluded

… but it’s just as likely to be a massive joke.
As opposed to the actual trials and convictions and jailings.

          1. deluded

To be clear, I absolutely believe there are conspiracies and as I say, there are actually trials and convictions and jailings happening.
I’m baffled as to what you could be waiting for.

          2. deluded

sorry I cannot offer more than Wiki right now,

… I include this because of the much touted “liberal conspiracy” in the media, which somehow manages to be a mouthpiece of the establishment and conservative at the same time.
            ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

          3. jusayinlike

Hysterical Russia gate conspiracies.. brilliant.. wild conspiracies offered up by Rachel Maddow..

You do know that Obama exercised the espionage act on a record scale during his administration..

And who originally locked up and tortured Chelsea Manning?

          4. deluded

            What is your point?
Obama isn’t president, Putin is and now Manning has been sent back to jail.

          5. deluded

Yeah, I can understand that strategically a Russia investigation is counter-productive if 40% of voters don’t believe it, don’t care or actually approve of the strongman concept.
I also understand that the choice between Dems and GOP would be like trying to chose between Renua and Fine Gael and the Dems don’t appear to favour the AOC or Bernie policies we take for granted here.
However I don’t know how settling for the GOP out of spite is going to shift the “Overton Window”.

          6. jusayinlike

democrats inventing hysterical conspiracies to distract from the disastrous campaign that saw them lose to an orange faced buffoon gameshow host.
