A Limerick A Day

British Prime Minister Theresa May speaks during Prime Minister’s Questions in the House of Commons, London yesterday

The cabinet told Mrs May
To ask for a three month delay
They feel apprehension
A longer extension
Might mean that they don’t get their way

I don’t think people can take much more of this. Another three months of in-parliament squabbling – a lame fielding of candidates for Euro elections in May, which will be met with protests by Brexiteers – a re-hashed withdrawal deal – DUP strutting around talking up their position. And then our own businesses continue to worry about an insecure financial future. Damn the Brits.
