BK is rank.
Yet they don’t say what’s in it, just that it’s ‘beefless’.
A ‘vegetarian’ burger implies vegetables – but which ones? And if they are to appeal to environmentalists, then surely they should be pesticide-free at least, with further information on processing energy costs.
Or is this a ‘vegetarian’ burger comprised of lab-grown meat substitute?
Anyway..lunchtime beckons and so does BoBos Burgers…
Recycled plastics with cow fart flavouring.
Delicious
Its usually chopped up veg combined with chopped up nuts, squashed into a patty.
I must admit that I occasionally do like me a Whopper :)
I think this is a good idea. Introducing something that may appeal to a definite group is normal and good business practice. Interesting to see that Greggs in the UK have ended up selling more vegan ‘sausage’ rolls than expected since they were introduced, including to non-vegans, so this may be a good move for BK.
That being said, I prefer my burger to have had a closer relationship to a cow than its fodder :)
