Daily Star calling an adder attack “an invasion”. FFS they’re native to Britain. What’s next, a story about how the adders are claiming benefits and importing straight bananas?

Datalex (26%+ owned by Dermot Desmond) to suspend its shares after failing to publish accounts because of accounting irregularities, INM (15% owned by Dermot Desmond) still being investigated by the corporate watchdog which is expected to conclude shortly after a whistleblower alleged INM was being run in the interest of its two biggest shareholders, secret success fees, over-valued proposed acquisitions, removing data from the company to be hacked by a company in another jurisdiction, Rietumu Bank (33% owned by Dermot Desmond) to publish its first quarter accounts next week, the bank’s business has been decimated after the Latvian crackdown on money laundering.
And Dermot has been looking for €3bn for a UK care home business for the past nine months. Somehow, I don’t think he’ll see anything like that for Barchester Healthcare.

Another quality story from Mick Clifford, the hacks at the Irish Times (which bought the Examiner last year) must hate it, I mean, just why don’t whistleblowers and sources trust the Irish Times? Why does the IT have to depend on insidious briefings from the Gardai for its crime and security stories?

Here we have it again. The Minister For Sitting On His Hands, Harris, once again shown up for the disinterested incompetent he is.
With Varadkar trying furiously to protect his own future, he is quite happy to send out boys like Harris and Murphy (in two of the top ministries, but lacking capability) to take the flak while he follows his dreams of fame and stardom.

The little FGers in Wexford are getting agitated with the arrival of Verona Murphy on the ticket for the next general election. Kehoe in particular, who barely scraped in last time, is livid as he took over the FF constituency office in New Ross (bit of a cuckoo in him) of ousted Sean Connick a few years ago, and will see no return on investment as Murphy will take any New Ross votes.
Having said that, Murphy is relatively green to politics and put her two feet in it last week by announcing that there was no housing problem in Co. Wexford. That’s FG for you – new or old candidates – always out to stamp on the ordinary folk.

Kehoe is the gombeeniest of gombeens. Did we ever get to the bottom of that Fingleton “soft” loan at Irish Nationwide for the apartment on Haddington Square in Ballsbridge. Taxpayer had to give €5bn to bail out Irish Nationwide.
I don’t recall Vodafone, Google, Facebook or 3 gathering so much flak

“Is Trump planning to visit Ireland in June” asks the Daily Mail on its front page.
Inside “we have absolutely no idea, he mentioned a trip to Ireland at the St Patrick’s Day shamrock thingy last month, but he didn’t mention it in the announcement of the UK visit yesterday”.
There, saved you Daily Mail poo.

You’re an analytical genius, eoin, we’d be lost without you.

Aaaah thanks! It would be a shame if punters bought the Mail today on the false premise that the Mail have any idea about the question they prominently ask on the front page.
And who can forget the strained relationship Mail hacks and management have with the truth and public service, all exposed at the Charleton Tribunal last year (pages 268-275 especially).
He better not, he’ll mess up the bank holiday weekend with his security.

Lyra McKee’s funeral today is very significant, with the President, the Taoiseach, the Tanaiste and Minister Katherine Zappone reported as mourners. No word on Theresa May and Liz; maybe they’re not aware of the funeral, or even death, if they just read the Daily Telegraph.
It’s a huge Irish state presence at the funeral of a Belfast woman killed in Derry whose funeral is being held in Belfast. A gay Taoiseach, a gay Cabinet minister, the foreign affairs minister and the President, it’s making a major statement of support for Lyra, for LGBT rights, defiance towards the dissidents and solidarity with everyone in Northern Ireland, fair play to them.

The cartoon on the front page of the Irish Times probably has its heart in the right place but that’s an awful rendition of Michelle O’Neill.

…poor rendition alright…but why is Arlene there…agreement had been reached but Arlene couldn’t deliver…the real leader of the DUP should be there*
*hint: it ain’t Arlene…

Fake news Guardian has really jumped the shark this time.
Imagine hiring a 16 year old Swedish girl to tell British MPs how to vote for the fake Man-Made-Catastrophic-Climate-Change-Agenda in order to raise taxes on a clean, cheap, efficient ubiquitous energy source (hydrocarbons).
Now watch all the useful idiots jump to defend these self same liars and their lies.

Watched this doc last night, its amazing highly recommend and essentially its where abortion in Ireland will be in 10 years.
“FRONTLINE goes inside the fight over abortion, told through the stories of women struggling with unplanned pregnancies. Drawing on a landmark FRONTLINE film from the 1980s, the documentary takes a look at both sides of the abortion divide in a community still embroiled in the conflict.”
