And it’s not even raining.
No Eamon she is the Minister of State for European Affairs. Pretty much everyone I know, in whatever their role, have at more than one point held an umbrella.
Is Varadkar incapable of holding an umbrella too?
It’s just manners. She holds it while he speaks. No big deal.
She’s been treated despicably by Varadkar. Should she not be alongside him and someone else doing the little task? No men available?
I mean…. this is mental. Your fixation on Leo is reaching new heights; perhaps she is the one that owns the umbrella…
@GG
Think the jury’s still out on that one.
waiting for the brains trust of broadsheet to explain how two people can stand under an umbrella while the person in front holds it…….
poor little b..
Side by side would be good. Varadkar using her as a concierge is what it looks like.
your level of offence amuses me greatly
carry on with the tactical umbrella formations please
poor little b
Carry on with the box set of love island. About the level you’re at.
So basically, Varadkar cannot speak and hold an umbrella at the same time.
I see.
As long as she gets into the photo she’d be happy enough.
They love a bit of an aul stand behind the leader, do the apparatchiks. Was it the Labour think-in recently? Anyway, there was Eamon wanging away about something on RTE and there must have been around 8 people standing like lemons behind him, delighted with themselves.
Well someone has to hold it. Otherwise they’d get wet. Why SHOULD it be Leo instead of Helen?
Actually never mind they could just wear coats
I rarely have much time for blueshirts, but hearing her stand up to John Humphries on Today, when he was being even more arrogantly moronic than usual earned her my respect (though never my vote, in the unlikely event of ever living inMeath)
Simon Coveney has also been pretty great against that muppet too.
Stan, when did that happen (as in what month) I wouldn’t mind having a listen back to it.
dav hearts blushirts
I knew he’d come round. His heart was never really in the anti-blueshirt movement.
haha
It is hardly bucketing it down. The lay people around him seem to be coping fine. For a man who is increasingly all about the optics, it is a ridiculous set-up.
McEntee will be made fall on her sword after this… no one ruins a Varadkar spin piece
Drip feed of rumours as usual.
She looks thrilled about it too!
