I don’t like Trump or whatever, but I’m not sure that this staggering turn-out of a dozen people really conveys that there is a groundswell of popular opposition to his visit.

Would Richard Boyd Barrett be out protesting if a communist dictator guilty of human rights abuses can to visit?

    Would he fupp.

And you know this because of all the dictators we’ve invited to out great nation.

George Nader, Mueller’s key witness on Russian interference in President Trumps victory, has been arrested and faces 15 years for child pornograghy.

Serious question, wtf has that got do to with anything relating to this particular post?

“Nader was sentenced in the 1990s for transporting child pornography publications, and imprisoned in 2003 for sexually abusing 10 boys in the Czech Republic.[3] In June 2019, he was arrested and again charged with allegedly transporting child pornography in January 2018.”

      I don’t think he’s being set up.

Yet another Trump adviser turns out to be a criminal scumbag. And this guy was convicted of child rape in 2003 and kept on being a Republican adviser. Q is a fasle flag.

Any American president is welcome. Just because we don’t like him personally does not mean as a nation we shouldn’t welcome the President of the US, as a nation we deal with a lot worse than trump.

      Trump is not welcome.

I don’t want to hear the guff about honouring the office, even if you can’t abide the man. Trump doesn’t behave in any way befitting the office of POTUS, and the sheer arrogance and disrespect for the Irish people shown by him the lead up to this visit is a prime example of his odious carryon.

      1. Anomanomanom

What disrespect? And like I said, we deal with a lot worse than trump. I suppose the nation will protest the World Cup in Qatar, the fact we deal with S.Arabia, Russia so on. Oh no wait its a personal thing with Trump.

        1. Mickey Twopints

I appear to have missed the recent visits of the Qataris, the Saudis, and the Russians. Did they go well?

          1. Anomanomanom

Typical answer, we’ll protest if you come here but if you don’t visit then we’re fine with everything you do. Grand carry on so.

  5. Spaghetti Hoop

Just saying that he’s not welcome is so lazy. Protest about his policies if ye’re going to protest! That’s the whole point and it is what garners media attention.
