An illuminating, nostalgic, mildly oh-god-were-people actually-like-that time-line of interviews with the great Debbie Harry by documentary maker Meghan Fredrich of Public Interest. to wit:
Blondie’s Debbie Harry endures years of superficial, tedious, and demeaning questions from journalists until she devises a brilliant way to turn interviews on their head.

Little known Nazi sympathizers. Named after Hitler’s dog. Heart of Glass is actually about the treatment of the German people after WW1 by the allies.
One way or another? Fairly obvious when you think about it.
What? Can you explain your comment further?
Fuhrer?…slow day in work Millie don’t mind me.
So that’s a no then, as opposed to a yep.
(two can play at this game)
Apart from the fact that Hitler’s dog was named Blondi (note, no last ‘e’) There are far more mentions of Blondie as a name even before that dog was born. To wit, the cartoon strip Blondie, more likely an inspiration to an american than an unknown dog from across the ocean. Just because they share a similar name does not invoke causality. This is not a case of post hoc ergo propter hoc, as you imply.
As millie says (and I am taking a privilege here): provide your sources or stop pontificating!
We probably just use different Googles or whatever.
Nonetheless, there’s no denying that “Union City Jew” is a class tune..
Hitler was also a notoriously bad rapper, so the connections are just making themselves at this stage.
It’s no Adam Curtis documentary. 17 minutes of meh.
wooosh!
I must admit I enjoyed that. Although I could do without the deliberate effects on the interviews to make them seem old-timey.
Ms Harry was a bit of an inspiration for me, particularly when she gave up the limelight to care for her partner. She had her priorities right, and that meant something to young me.
