This is the weekly supply of meat for a family of 4 in emergency accommodation for asylum seekers in Wicklow. By not giving asylum seekers enough food, the owner makes more money. End #DirectProvision @LeoVaradkar @CharlieFlanagan @davidstantontd

You don’t need meat to live either so any meat is a luxury. What is that anyway? chicken breasts of the right? You’d be better eating eggs. On the left , is that liver?. Jesus, the organs are the most nutritious part of an animal . If you where to eat meat then this is the only part to eat. That bag is plenty enough for a family or 4 to consume in a week. Steaks, breast, chops are crap that people only eat for luxury reasons. The DP residence have problems enough as it is , they really don’t want to end up like the fatty bum bums in this country that would eat those two bags for breakfast every morning and not see anything wrong with it.

Looks like… 6 (8 maybe?) chicken fillets maybe and approx. 1kg of mince, at an estimate.

You could stretch that to a week, but you’d have to be clever with how you use it.

So people in direct provision get to cook for themselves, now – well, that’s good.

If they want extra meat, they can decide always buy some.

“by not giving asylum seekers enough food, the owner makes more money.”

Is the charge that asylum seekers are being starved or undernourished? Because that is poo.

I wonder if MASI sends these posts over to Broadsheet, or BS picks up on them themselves; because if its the former, the posts really aren’t getting the reception that MASI is looking for…
