This morning.
Dublin, unspecified location.
A sensor-equipped jammer – among a fleet- currently collecting road details, signage and landmarks across Ireland
Apple will incorporate this information into its modern Apple Maps dataset, which is being rebuilt literally from the ground up.
FIGHT!

Just so the CIA will know exactly where you live and can plan how best to rendition you when you kick up too much of a fuss about the increasing use of Shannon airport as a base by the US military.
You need a holiday.
Nah
You’re probably first on the list in that case eoin. Keep the head down.
I don’t have a sign on my house saying who I am. If you do and this is a concern for you I suggest you take it down.
Some mooning opportunities present themselves?
They have been busy! I saw the car around the back road from duncannon to mullinavat a few days ago
In the Phoenix park on Friday
Spotted in Smithfield on Thursday.
Overtook it on the M50 weeks ago and I did that deNiro/Meet the Parents/’I’m watching you’ gesture to the driver.
But surely there’s more than one car a-mapping?
drove past my gaff twice over the weekend
That was Brother Barnabas.
makes the flash all that more worthwhile
saved to memory, J
(smile next time, eh?)
(if brother barnabas could drive)
Saw it around Kimmage on Saturday
Hope it’s more accurate than the other crowd
Google needs major recalibration
It had me starting from Enniscorthy when I was in Tuam
Somewhere called St Kevin’s when I’m in LR Mount Street
Blackrock Co Louth when I’m down the Pairc
And theres a place called The Missing Bean in Oxford recommended when ever I get my hair done
‘suppose it could be the phone too
Either way Google Maps is a pain in the bum
Try finding the Crown Plaza Swords without having to do a dozen U-Turns
Google invented a place called Scalpwilliam to put Killiney into. Or possibly the other way around. My aunt’s lived there since 1978 and she’d never heard the word Scalpwilliam until she tried to book herself a myTaxi and couldn’t figure out why it would only give her the option of choosing Killiney in Scalpwilliam, wherever that was, instead of her own hometown of 40 years. They’re like gods beside us now, sculpting reality to their own liking.
Probably a bitta that
But I kinda blame the App on the phone too
It’s never off
So if you’re like me and your flutering in and out of 5g WiFi and lumpy blackspots from Athy to Ballinasloe
And Google customers with promoted placements
Stuff and locations get stalled and frozen
Locked on their Google Maps/ Word Search local customer
Or confused
Like Dublin Texas
Even yesterday I came off the M7 /M8 to get diesel just before the toll
Around Cullahill before heading into Abbeyleix/ Port Laois to visit a pal via Urlingford
Signal was muck in fairness
So GMaps wanted me to go back to Horse and Jockey via Thurles
Yesterday of all days n’ all
Just to get me back onto the M8
And get an e Toll out’ve me
And keep a track on me
•-)
I love it
Yes you do need to ignore it occasionally
But overall it’s awesome
that comment could easily be about your member
(sorry, bodger. giddiness got the better of me)
Ah yeah
Al Binliner
I wouldn’t be without it tbh
But its definitely corrupted by paid for spots, dodgy signal traps, open networks wifi’ ing in, and smart phone apps n’ downloads n’ whathaveyas interfering
Like just look that that convolution there yesterday
Tipp Kilkenny Laois and back to Tipp again
Probably all different signal masts and algorithms
And profiling going on
And speed traps in different duristictions n’ all
Stasi.
Torquay Road this evening. Looked like they had stopped to adjust the thingamajig.
They were based in Sligo for a few weeks in May.
Saw a Google on going south on the N11 the other day, and today an Apple one going north. I wonder if they ever overlap and record each other.

I think that breaks the Matrix
