Changes to the legislation effective from 4th June 2019 have extended notice periods which a landlord must provide to a tenant when serving them with a notice of termination.

            actually they do, a nice affordable one over a sit down lunch served by people paid enough to live in affordable housing,
            well I guess they don’t in Ireland

      The landlord needs a reason to evict a person and selling is one of those reasons. I’m pretty sure these notice periods apply when a landlord wants to sell.

    like anything else they try, it’ll be ineffective, largely through leaving so many loopholes and backdroo escape routes. just like the rules for restricting air bnb, already have found ways around em. and on top of that, they don’t even have the staff to enforce them.

    Landlords are evil we need to seize properties belonging to these bloodsuckers and redistribute them among the needy families on social housing.
