We are running a raffle in aid of a not for profit Homeless organisation called Friends Helping Friends…

They do awesome work supplying hot meals on the street for the homeless and less fortunate people and also supply their other basic needs too such as clothing and toiletries.

Tickets (at link below) are only €10 each (you can buy multipe) to be in with a chance of winning a €500 All4One gift voucher. Thanks for your help folks ….

Fair play to volunteers wanting to do something for those in need. I see Friends Helping Friends describes itself as a not for profit organisation. It is not a registered charity or government supported organisation, and you know, when you’re just doing small scale stuff, who cares really about someone good enough to offer a helping hand. When you start fund raising though from the public, I think you do need to show some standards of governance, otherwise there’s a risk, God forbid, that should some shady practices be uncovered, that you’ll damage the rest of the charity sector.

Who is the license holder for this raffle?
Define “Proceeds”. How much money do Go Raffle It retain before these “proceeds” are passed to the recipient?
