Is that a Massey Ferguson 35? Successor to the fantastic Ferguson T20 (which I learned to drive on :) )

    Wonderful machines: simple and functional.

Slightly Bemused, I believe so. The T20 is lustily recalled by Richie Kavanagh in the hyperlink.

I never noticed the hyperlink, and had never seen that vid before! Many thanks, for all that it is Richie….

Seriously, great vehicles, and having learned to drive on one, I believe that it helped in my later driving of cars. Seriously, clutch is fun!

Learned on some vintage tractor – not sure which. You learn so much about engines too as they’re so damn noisy you can’t help but listen to what it needs!

He is making windrows to have the field of hay baled on a MF 35 which has one
the best designed diesel engines ever made by Perkins 3 Cyl AD152
Lets put the clock forward to the new carbon free future say 2040 in other
words 21 years time, how are meadows going to either to be cut for hay
or harvested for silage, will it be back to the old Pierce Mowing Machine and
two Horses as methane powered tractors wont be tolerated either, there is
no doubt it the Green Lunatics have taken over.
