This afternoon.
Kildare Street, Dublin 2.
A peaceful ice cream ‘eat-out’ by young activists ahead of a HB Fundays Party in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland in Leinster House this afternoon.
The charity is calling for “vital investment in early years supports to promote language development for toddlers and young children with Down Syndrome”.
And several more tubs, if at all possible.

I’d only love an ice cream. Too hot for work.
I believe Dylans Hotel may have a flavour you might like…

Cheers :)
Ditto. I’d do anything for a Super Split. If (still) unavailable I’ll set for a Murphy’s Ice Cream scoop each of Sea Salt and Gin. Send a drone.
No luck in super valu I take it?
Not in the Heuston ‘Quarter’ one, but mission ongoing as I visit another branch tomorrow. They’re so vintage I’ll probably only find one best before 1991 in some unearthly hole of a shop in the midlands with faded HB and Italia 90 stickers in the window.
That’s the Holy Grail right there.
I’ll find out the makers of the ones I recommended and let you know tomorrow.
I have not seen a Super Split in more years than I can remember. And I think it was in that shop…
oh we’re having “this” conversation again, are we?
most of the classic hits have either disappeared or are just a vague shadow of their former selves
Brunch was my goto but it’s just a very sad attempt nowadays
the best I’ve come across recently was the mini fake magnums they do in Lidl – very decent chocolate & ice cream combo indeed & better than the one it impersonates imho
I hope they still do Ice Burgers, haven’t had one for ages.
I think they do and they’re still fairly decent, unlike Brunch’s, Feasts and Cornettos
+ 1
The brunch is a collosal disappointment
My own favourite was Tip Top. There ya’are now. Kinda like a choc ice, but with a frozen jelly on top. Not a wibbly wobbly wonder now. Or a 6d or 3d wafer. mmmmm Did I say mmmmmmmm? mmmmmm
99 problems.
