The Garda uniform IS terrible. Post a picture of three Garda lads fake laughing towards a camera and I would point out that the very same Garda uniform is terrible because the Garda uniform is terrible

Which one, the men’s or the women’s?
Have to say, some men can pull off a short-sleeved shirt and Harris is one.

Oh, there’s no doubt that apologies are in order for treating Garda members (men and women, straight and gay) appallingly by the standards of 2019. But Majella Moynihan can fupp right off if she thinks she’s getting €500,000 compensation [the estimated capitalised cost of a full pension until age 85] from the taxpayer plus the costs of her legal team.

Hope they pass on their inside knowledge of The Heavy Gang, and how it was allowed to take the law in to their own hands and ride off into the sunset with big fat pensions.

Have you ever noticed that there’s an awful lot of very small tiny little bean gardaí

It seems like proportionately there are more small women in the female demographic of the gardaí than there are in the female demographic of people in general

not that any of the women pictured are small, without a metric it’s hard to say but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and say they’re average sized, but just as an aside

I feel that short women are overrepresented in the gardaí

The term ‘Bean gardaí’ is no longer in use Term. Like there are no female doctors, female lawyers, female chefs, male cooks or draughstmen.

I once hear a member of the younger generation describing an interaction with two Gardaí by reference to “the man-garda” and “the bean-garda”. It was crisply effective in cutting through mounting confusion.

        Don’t care Hoop
I want to refer exclusively to ladycops and there’s a readymade term there that means ladycops
You can bet your bippy I’ll use it

Have to agree with you. Charlie Flanagan is 5’8″ and he looks taller than all the junior ban gardai above (or maybe he’s nearer and they’re far away)
