Lies, damn lies…stats can say anything. How much has the average household spend increased, during the years stated, on central heating, take a aways, Prosecco, third level education and whatever you’re having yourself?
The dark line shows percentages so increased spending in those other areas would reduce the percentage spent on rent.
And landlords pay 52% of rental income to the Government.
