Horse And CAB

This morning.

The Cavan/Monaghan “area”.

Officers from the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) conducted a search operation “in relation to the sale and supply of illegal drugs”.

Garda Press Office sez:

Two separate properties were searched as part of this operation. An Audi A4 car and a horsebox were seized. No arrests have been made. The CAB investigation into the ownership of real estate property is progressing

Two imitation firearms seized during raids in Dublin connected to ‘fraud related insurance ghost brokering activities’.

Name those models, anyone?

“An Audi A4 car and a horsebox were seized. “ How old is that Audi A4? 10 years? What would the two be worth together? €10,000? Was there no horse because the suspects had, erm, “advance warning”? Makes a change from the Garda PR pics of a battered auld fake Rolex I suppose, but compared to the amount of illegal drugs being sold into this country, it’s buttons and probably represents a slow Monday’s takings in west Cavan. Come back to me when CAB raids a major stables.
