    I’m with Tina.

Landlord wants their cake and eat eat. “We need some family time” Then go for a picnic.

Somebody should tell Tina the Finnola is not her landlady, she is a licensee and the owner can ask her to leave at any time.
I would never have lived in a owner occupied house when I was renting. Friends of mine who did were always uncomfortable an never could relax.

While this may be legally true – it is still horrible to be ‘asked’ to stay out of your home for a whole day… especially last minute.

Legal or not- it really is a bit much to demand your lodgers vacate for a full day at 24 hours notice- could she not just go out for lunch like most people?

If only for self interests, if you are sharing a house with others then you make an effort to get along or- they will leave and she’ll have to go through the whole process again with new strangers.

She sounds like she is a right biatch or just plain thick- or both.

Hi Fionnuala Drumcondra, See you next Tuesday, for dinner, make sure all the nasty humans that you chose to have this living arrangement with and who in turn pay your mortgage are out of the house

She send this request at 12:10pm and then says they need to be out of house at 12:33pm, is this a joke?, “We need some family time” – effing right you do, to discuss therapy options for Fionnuala

“Hi All I have a family Sunday lunch to day”
Received on the Saturday, as per the first picture.

Methinks Fionnula doesn’t get the concept behind *Sunday* lunch

Trying to understand the story via badly written tweets and messages. Would have been all sorted if the tenant replied ‘No’ to landlord/lady.

To be fair, Tina deserves some credit for using the word “avaricious”, which is my new word of the week.

    Again what Papi said
Harry too but I don’t think it’s used correctly in this context

Name and shame the Fionnuala wagon. If she’s getting 5 x €600 = €3,000 a month from her tenants, she should be able to take her adult children out for lunch.
