to be fair, the designers of those containers need to be congratulated. While it definitely does happen, in most accidents the containers do not split and spill their contents. While a great big cylinder does kind of block the road, at least it is not accompanied by spillage.

    What the??
Looks like the container came off a flatbed?
How the heck did that happen?
    Did it hit kerb hard?
Maybe it was full of self raising flour?

Extremely lucky no car or cyclists was passing at the time.

Turned a corner and no twist locks locked apparently, nothing holding the tank to the trailer. Very lucky it wasn’t a hazardous load in the tank.

What was that secured with? Shoelaces? Looks a nice morning in Dublin. Pishin down rain here in the Northwest (as usual).

Would you trade your incessant rain but stunning vistas for container-crashing, overpriced and overpopulated Dublin?

I wondered what it might be carrying…
according to the Dutch lads who run those containers they’d be involved in carrying dairy foodstuffs like milk or even chocolate!

imagine that, if it was chocolate & had burst out all over the East Wall?! we’d be down there with the buckets & spades stat!

Didn’t they watch ‘highway through Hell’? Surely the trucks can be positioned better?
