Members of Solidarity- People Before Profit at their think-in ahead of the start of Dáil term.

They have accused Fianna Fáil/ Fine Gael of preparing to make “working class people the ‘whipping Boys’ for Brexit” and are calling on the trade union movement to join them in protest.

    Hello? You are all elected representative – what policy initiatives have your undertaken in your 8 odd years being elected. What govt have you joined and attempted to make policy None.! What the eff are you doing about Brexit? Hurlers on the ditch, the lot of you. Drives me made. But the trade unions will resolve it – how exactly? By a march?

    Not mentioning the fact that they supported and campaigned for it, mostly.

    It may not be obvious there in the pic
    But on the news last evening I got a very strong sense of distance
    Or maybe it was some dysfunction
    Between them at the press front line – as pictured above

    And the style footage of the group around the meeting room table had an ambience of being very awkward

    It could be just me, but there didn’t seem to be any chemistry or connection between them
    only RBB displayed any sort of charisma, the rest just emanated the promise of a wet fish handshake
