I still get flashbacks to the horror that was Jetfoil, plying its trade between Dublin and Liverpool in the 80s. When the hydroplanes inevitably failed, you would be thrown across the Irish Sea like a cork for what felt like 10 hours in aircraft style seating and no outside deck for air.
