Play Aqualung!

This afternoon.

Merrion Street, Dublin 4

A flute choir from Loreto College, Foxrock, County Dublin serenade broadcaster Miriam O’Callaghan – as per her contract with RTÉ – at a Garden Party lunch in The Merrion Hotel in aid of the Royal Hospital in Donnybrook, Dublin 4 which recently marked its 275th anniversary.

Any excuse.

Instead of shouting slogans at an anticlimate change protest, these responsible schoolgirls are saving their breath for the concert flute fundraiser in aid of the Royal Hospital.

Fair dues; though involving Miriam O’Callaghan or anyone else from RTÉ is a big mistake. How much was she paid for this appearance?

Really? I’d love to go, which isn’t really possible, anyway, I met Ian Anderson years’ ago after a concert in the Point Depot even though I was too young to really appreciate JT; notwithstanding, he a lovely man, an amazing performer, musician and he’s adept with so many instruments! If you can get a ticket, you will remember that night for the rest of your life :)
