The Attorney General yesterday evening confirmed that new inquests will be held for the 48 victims of the 1981 Stardust fire. It follows a request last April from the families of the victims.

More to follow.

Has the Attorney General disclosed WHY he is establishing a new inquest. What new information has come to light in 2018/9 that wasn’t there over the years that the relatives have been demanding a new inquest?

The fact that Haughey appoints his lover’s husband to protect a staunch Fianna Fail fundraiser maybe?
      Or maybe not?

Justice Ronan Keane, Terry Keane, Charlie Haughey, Butterly Brothers.
Assumptions made in the investigation that contradicted actual evidence.

The word “probably” appears 75 times in the report.

“the evidence of a motive for a deliberate act of arson on the premises remains tenuous.”
“the Tribunal has come to the conclusion that the more probable explanation of the fire is that it was caused deliberately.”

Ronan Keane, you are a disgrace

You might mention that the Coffey examination published in 2009 removed the probability of arson claim. 10 years ago. Yes it did, kinda proves my point about Keane.
