    But it IS gas!

It’s completely nuts that such nonsense as “toxic masculinity” has taken root, and funnier still are the ridiculous “fixes” being offered. Absolutely none of which have been proven to “fix” what they claim to fix, none, nada, zilch.
This claptrap makes the ol’ literal snake oil salesman seem credible…. and it is most definitely hilarious :0p’

I knew they’d reel you in with that, Clampers my dear. Scamps, the lot of them

It was good for a giggle on this wet Friday morning :)

…a good distraction from the search for a childminder !

Have a look on mindme.ie, Clampers.

I found my childminder on there and she’s an absolute godsend. As far as I recall a lot of the minders listed have to be garda vetted and qualified, so it’s worth a look. There is a paywall of about €25 but it’s well worth it while you search out one.

I heard the guy on radio read it out. He didn’t read it out “as if it was gas.” He read it out in the same dead-pan way he reads everything out – which is not a criticism.

Is there any toxic femininity? Or is it just that some people and behaviours are bad and some not?

I love the way John S Doyle delivers ‘It Says in the Papers’, love his voice and his humour. Wish they’d give him more to do. I especially enjoyed the bit about vanishing manners – a neighbour gave a child an orange and his mother said, ‘what do you say?’ to which he replied ‘peel it’.
