Snap Out Of It

This afternoon.

Government Buildings, Dublin 2

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has ruled out an early general election before Christmas, saying it was not in the country’s interests with so much uncertainty around Brexit.

Speaking to the media after today’s Cabinet meeting, Mr Varadkar said it could be a crucial time in the Brexit process and the UK general election could see changes to the political landscape in Westminster.

He said it was possible that the Brexit Party could hold the balance of power or other parties may want to reopen UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Withdrawal Agreement.

Mr Varadkar said: “We should not have a general election until we have some certainty around what is happening with Brexit and we don’t have that yet.”

Remember when Ireland rejected the Lisbon Treaty and the Irish government, having “no wish to halt the progress of a union which has been the greatest force for peace and prosperity in the history of Europe” went back to the other EU leaders and secured a number of legally binding guarantees on abortion, taxation, security and defence, workers’ rights and social policy which they then brought back to the electorate who voted to accept the treaty with these new guarantees?

      Good times.

There it is in black and white for all to see. An inept, incompetent, inexperienced arrogant spoofer who spreads the cancer on the body politic.

Elected by a cabal of only Fine Gael spoofers, effectively barring the majority of voters the right to decide who is their Taoiseach. And before any of the usual daw jawed thickos come on here, saying ‘thats always how we elect the Taoiseach, were aware of that Captain Obvious. It does however serve to highlight the democratic deficit that exists where only a select few can vote that has ramifications for the majority.

That’s the way these political filthbags have the system set up. Limit the input citizens have, and then they continue to make a mockery of the institution they sit in.

People are finally waking up to the reality of who they actually are. Kick them in the ballots!!!!

Leo Varadkar overall competence and achievements is equivalent to a teeny tiny fleck of faeces on the panties of politics.

Paris style protests on streets!!! drag them kicking and screaming from the Dail.

Remember when Balpoor was Minister for Health and he didn’t want to pay the nurses but saw nothing wrong with commissioning the Most-Expensive-Children’s-Hospital-In-The-World™

    Good Times

I see her Ladyship Hildegard Naughton is another button pusher in the dail – not happy with her own, she presses other FGers. and it only came to light – why?

When he thought, a couple of weeks ago, that he had played a pivotal role in negotiating a Brexit deal a GE was on the cards as he could ride the popularity from it, now that the Brexit deal is off the cards until the new year so is a GE. So not in his best interests then.
