      By who?

I view him as the lunatic he was and no, I don’t eat from ‘Mao’ the take away.

If you want great Asian food, Green Mango is yer only man in Dublin or even Camille.

Brilliant mask. Pity there’s not one for Obama, considering that he built some of that Mexican wall and had the cages that people were kept in built too! Don’t get me started on how many civilians, particularly at weddings, that were massacred under his watch by drones. The thing about the new Left is that they smash mirrors these days rather than look in to them.

    1. Nigel

It’s funny because I remember the right insisting Obama was throwing open the borders and being soft on terrorism. Plus ca change.

      1. ReproBertie

It’s really telling that pointing out anything negative about the US president is met with “well this president was worse”.

Put simply, Obama using drones to massacre people at weddings does not mean it’s OK for Trump to up the rate of drone attacks. Both are wrong. Can you understand that?

      2. Nigel

What? Are you saying the right wasn’t braying that Obama was throwing open the borders and soft on terrorism?

          1. Nigel

No, it’s because people voted for Trump. They really liked his Muslim-banning, wall-building, environmentally-destructive, pro-fossil fuel, anti-financial regulatiion, Putin-friendly policies, not to mention his record of bankruptcies, fraud, multiple alleged sexual assaults, racism, screwing contractors, shady connections and living in a gold-covered penthouse. Something about all that really appealed to his voters, big time.

          2. Man On Fire

8 years of failed policies and constant wars.

            That’s why you have Trump.

And in true loser style, Nigel blames voters instead of taking stock of the fact that the Democrats offered nothing to voters in 2016.

            That’s why you have Trump.

          3. Nigel

‘Blaming?’ Are they not delighted by their victory? Bits of the wall are sort of being built! Mexico may still pay for it, who knows? Thousands of familes have been sperated and caged at the border! Environmental, financial and consumer protections slashed! A foreign policy that by accident or design favours Putin and other totalitarian strong-men! Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama are under secret arrest! Are these not the things they voted for? Have they no agency? They are triumphant! How dare you take this away from them by giving all the credit for Trump to the Democrats!

          4. Man On Fire

“Bits of the wall are sort of being built!”

Initiated by republicans and passed by the Democrats including Hillary.

“A foreign policy that by accident or design favours Putin and other totalitarian strong-men!”

Assad is fighting ISIS, are you in favour of ISIS now?

Uranium 1 is a democrat scandal, Hillary Clinton’s foreign policies actually favoured Putin more than Trumps..

8 failed years of Obama led to Trump.

Blaming voters won’t change that in 2020.

          5. Nigel

What are you on about re the wall? There was no wall before Trump started braying about it. There still is no wall, and Mexico ain’t paying for it, but there you go.

Am I supposed to ‘like’ one and ‘support’ the other? What a simple mind. Then again the people who voted for Trump were the same people who supported the Iraq War, which led to the creation of ISIS. But apparently we can’t blame them for anything they do.

Uranium 1 is a right wing talking point, but we know you love those.

Again, apparently if I say people voted for Trump I’m ‘blaming’ them? Republicans are the part of personal responsibility. They knew what they were doing when they elected him.

“There was no wall before Trump started braying about it. There still is no wall, and Mexico ain’t paying for it, but there you go.”

The link above shows the bill for the wall/fence being passed by Democrats in 2006. But there you go.

“Then again the people who voted for Trump were the same people who supported the Iraq War, which led to the creation of ISIS. But apparently we can’t blame them for anything they do.”

Wrong yet again, it was the Democrats destruction of Lybia and Egypt that led to Benghazi and the creation of ISIS.

” Uranium 1 is a right wing talking point, but we know you love those.”

Its actually a fact, albeit an inconvenient one for you. Engulfing former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, the Clinton foundation and the Podesta group. Tony Podesta has had to stand down from his own company because of it.

” Again, apparently if I say people voted for Trump I’m ‘blaming’ them? Republicans are the part of personal responsibility. They knew what they were doing when they elected him”

More people didn’t vote than voted for Trump. Its the fact that people were so poor and fed up after 8 years of meaningless illegal wars and failed domestic policies under the Obama administration that they either didn’t vote or voted for Trump.

Democrats offer nothing so folks went elsewhere.

          7. Nigel

Really? The Democrats wanted to build a wall all along the US-Mexico border?

The feck does Libya and Benghazi have to with ISIS? Has the Iraq War gone completely down the memory hole here?

Yes, it’s a fact that it’s a right wing talking point, though somewhat eclipsed by pizzagate since, you know, the one where her staff were ordering children from the basement of a pizzaria. The inconvenient fact for you is that the right feeds you talking points and you devour them.

Well, technically, more people voted for Clinton than voted for Trump, too.

Digress to smears as per usual.

“Well, technically, more people voted for Clinton than voted for Trump, too.”

That’s why she lost and he won. Typically out of touch Nigel.

          9. Nigel

It is weird how Trump, who has been president for three years now, prompts people to bring up Clnton and Obama amost nostalgically. he’s been president for three years. he has a record of policies that can be judged on their merits. But no, it’s Obama this, Hilary that…

          10. Nigel

I mean, inasmuch as Trump and his voters are reactionaries enraged by a few modestly progressive domestic policies by a thoroughly centrist black president. If you keep telling me that the people who voted to re-elect George W Bush were against endless wars, then I’m sorry but I just have to laugh in your face.

          11. Man On Fire

“enraged by a few modestly progressive domestic policies by a thoroughly centrist black president.”

Obama, in his own words, was a moderate republican.

            Shoehorns racism as per usual.

” If you keep telling me that the people who voted to re-elect George W Bush were against endless wars, then I’m sorry but I just have to laugh in your face.”

Nobody said that Nigel, but feel free to digress..

          12. Nigel

The built some fences. It takes some hard work to turn that into the equvalence of a Wall all along the border, just as it takes something to turn Obama’s handful of unaccompanied kids into the equivalent of thousands of families seperated and caged. I wonder what makes the fences and handful of unaccompanied children of a black man equivalent to the Wall all along the border and thousands of families seperated by a white man? What could it be?

Nobody argued that the Libya failure didn’t embolden and enable ISIS. You argued that Obama created ISIS, through Libya and, weirdly, Benghazi.

She lost and he won because she got more votes? Now you;re just saying stuff at random.

          13. Man On Fire

“The built some fences. It takes some hard work to turn that into the equvalence of a Wall all along the border”

You’re arguing the difference between a wall and an electric fortified fence?

“Wrong yet again, it was the Democrats destruction of Lybia and Egypt that led to Benghazi and the creation of ISIS.”

“Nobody argued that the Libya failure didn’t embolden and enable ISIS. You argued that Obama created ISIS, through Libya and, weirdly, Benghazi”

Stop saying I said something when I clearly didn’t.

“She lost and he won because she got more votes? Now you;re just saying stuff at random.”

No I said she lost and he won, which is kind of obvious.

          14. Nigel

Anyway, MoF and I decided to dress as Election 2016 for Haloween this year. We hope we scared the ever-living bejayzis out of you.

          15. italia'90

Hah Nigel you’re a gas man.

And you didn’t even have to take off your Shillary mask :)

            Happy halloween ya scamp.
