“Blindboy Boatclub, voice of a generation”
Give me strength!
Plastic Generation!
His podcast is quite good.
Maybe just not your generation?
This guy would eat himself if he were a bar of chocolate. He’s lost the run of himself and has the gall to use the Rubberbandits twitter page for his own personal musings and promotion. Check it out, it’s all about him.
“the gall”
Loosen the grip on those pearls maybe?
I’d tune in for blindboy. He’s a good lad.
same
yes he is – touch of the brother barnabas about him
Hmmm? Brother! Are you perhaps the masked crusader behind the mask?
If so, where’s my Brian Cowen mask I gave ya in Tullamore in 200?
He has grown bigger than his burqa- yes.
That’s rather nasty of you, soq.
and meaningless
I do like his podcast
I dip in and out, I reckon my enjoyment depends on my mood/ the topic,
but I know lots of people especially lads who have taken something away from the chats on mental health and discussions on addiction and relationships, so if he has helped one person ..fair play
+1
I can no longer listen to his incessant Anti-Brit ramblings, but you can’t deny the positive work he does around Mental Health and the importance of mindfulness
some of the things he says about running or playing the x box grinds my gears but bigger picture is sound enough, you can’t like everything about everyone :)
Guy with makey-up name and plastic bag on head educates the masses on mental health…..
Jaysis.
mental health is the new gold rush.

making nice dollars from pseudogobbledegook. is this the new consumerism blind boy is warning us of?? buy his book to find out.
callow shill.
Spot on Frank
Himself hasn’t been promoting PH lately. See will he give her an ole plug tomorrow night
A British prince is openly discussing his mental health issues after his mother was murdered, has no blood line to the throne, was reared in strict private schools and then married an American half black botox queen who on occasion after producing a babby, appears to eat like the rest of us.
blind boy boat club has competition.
that’s right. even the British throne sees the value in a sob story come good
Frank, How have you not been eaten alive by your own bile yet?
‘modern-day addictions to consumerism’
Au contraire, we’ve reached peak consumerism. People are bored with stuff. Witness the popularity of Marie Kondo and the sustainable fashion phenomenon.
the climate change rebellion will see a hearto unseen global consumerism. as we all switch/insulate/retrofit to modernise our lifestyles.
we are poised for a massive revolution but its through what we know ie. more consumerism than actual solutions.
if western society was truly and genuinely concerned about climate change. all vehicle manufacture would halt and a programme of continual repair would be state sponsored. but instead we’re offered something new rather than something renewed.
it’s a lie and it’s an obvious lie. don’t get sucked in.
Actually Frank, sustainable fashion – which is what I mentioned – is all about swapping clothes with friends, buying in second-hand shops, mending, spot cleaning insteading if chucking into the laundry, buying fewer items etc.
do you think sustainable fashion can abate holocaust climate extinction?
the goal is carbon neutrality by whatever date. correct?
yet all carbon neutral products will have to be manufactured to replace perfectly sustainable current products. the whole shill is about stimulation of a ‘green’ economy. its gross consumerism and you’re being sold a lie
I have 2 on trend ‘Live Simply’ t shirts from the Patagonia label- both cost 60+ euros each- does that count?
I agree. Consider how consumerism changed in Ireland from the tiger to recession economy periods. People went from high-tech gadgets to vintage second-hand and up cycling, and from designer purchases and ‘owning’ stuff to ‘doing’ stuff cheaply and for free. A forced behavioural change – but a healthy one nonetheless.
Is this what happens to everyone with a mind (blind boy) who stays in Ireland: they end up on the late late..? With Turgidity and the other half wits…
