“Your Self-Righteousness Knows No Limits”

at

Moments ago.

In the Dáil during Leaders’ Questions.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar told Fianna Fáil Mícheál Martin that his “self-righteousness knows no limits”.

It followed Mr Martin raising concerns about hospital overcrowding and the number of patients on hospital trolleys.

In response, Mr Varadkar reminded Mr Martin of his record as Minister for Health and told him “you should be off your high horse when it comes to this one”.

Sigh.

Varadkar is correct of course. That’s as far as it goes though as Varadkar was also a failed Health Minister, and trying a childish retort in the Dail is par for the course instead of addressing the current issues.

I’m pretty sure that all Health Ministers are failed health ministers.
You can’t succeed as a health minister now.

Why does he think personal attacks that don’t address the issue are worth making? People care about the issue not the person asking.

“….this one” At Least Leo acknowledges the constant string of f—ups in this corrupt little kip of a USA landing pad and transnational corporate tax shelter we call home.

Why do you 60%-ish of voters keep voting for one half or the other of this failed political system of binary choice illusion of representation, far right neo-liberal economics for the wealthy and anti-democratic extremism

F-f/g are one single party representing the same interests. i.e., – their own averice and the greed of anonymous global corporate finance and it’s two fingers to you and everone else.

Vote for a hard working trustworthy local independent in your area or anyone/anything else if you even have half a brain-cell left with common sense still functioning inside your head.
