This is a rip off of a Simpson episode.
That Simpsons episode got its idea from an earlier Twilight Zone episode ‘To Serve Man’, which got it’s original idea from an earlier short story by a science fiction writer (whose name escapes me), who may have gotten the idea from a scene in The Silver Chair )of Narnia fame) wherein Eustace and Jill meet giants who say they would be happy to have them at dinner.
CS Lewis likely got his idea from someone else, or old fables and stories. After all, the wicked witch in the gingerbread house liked to eat children.
I would say it is a story as old as time, I reckon.
