We are humbly honoured with the news that our final album “In the End” has been nominated for a 2020 Grammy in the category of Best Rock Album.
It’s a fitting tribute to Dolores and her truly amazing talents. She would be immensely proud.@RecordingAcad pic.twitter.com/AyYQfJxbFX— The Cranberries (@The_Cranberries) November 20, 2019
Last night.
The Cranberries’ Grammy-nominated In The End features vocals recorded by Dolores O’Riordan before she died, and the surviving members – top from left: bassist Mike Hogan guitarist Noel Hogan, and drummer Fergal Lawler – finished the record with the support of the lead singer’s family.
Dolores’ mother, Eileen, also released a statement:
“Dolores would be so happy with this, she put her heart and soul into her songs and music. For us as her family it’s kind of bittersweet, we’re immensely proud yet saddened that she isn’t here to witness and enjoy this, although I feel that she is in spirit.”
