Regular occurrence I’m told. However I did think there were thermal detectors now in port to detect stowaways. If not, there should be, and before sailings.

or better still adopt the blind-eye approach and let the poor fuppers in so they can build better lives for themselves

I dunno Brother, it would be allowing the traffickers to continue to ply their dirty trade. And when there are deaths, the blind eye approach makes the authorities then culpable.

well if I was a border guard, it’d be one long wink and nudge routine – I’d let everyone through. I’d be scanning the queues for the dodgy ones, gesturing them over to my line. perhaps that’s my calling, actually.

        1. Brother Barnabas

I’m not saying open borders – just that anyone who gets to that point should be discreetly let in

we could balance it by deporting anyone who makes a habit of antisocial behaviour

          probably to wales

think of the cash spent the sacrifices made to get them to that point, you’d have to feel some empathy

My heat swells with. The news of my countrymen involved in human trafficking
Actually I hang my head in shame as why it’s so organized and lucrative for the scum involved

last time I came through there, there was a lady on the boat they called the boomerang, they just send him back relentlessly from port authority to port authority, he essentially spends his life on those boats

Yep. Let’s all be careful what we say. Just observe, let the facts trickle out and don’t become judgementally animated. Just stay nonjudgementally taciturn. There is no censorship, only public blandness by media and political people.

Sounds to me like the traffickers at this stage just want to get the migrants on boats, (from my understanding, which could be wrong) once they reach their destination they can legally claim asylum. From reports it appears these people are Kurdish and with the deal Trump and Erdogan have done they would have a good case.
