I’ve never understood why Jeremy Corbyn is so ridiculed. I’m no expert but anytime I’ve heard him speak, he seems to genuinely care about people. He comes across as sincere and good-hearted and has spent a long career fighting for the oppressed. And yet the British electorate seem to prefer being governed by elitist, self-serving Tories. I used to think that if we had a Corbyn figure in Ireland, they would be elected by a landslide majority. But now I’m not so sure. Maybe people are just happier being governed by leaders who think the people are scum.

He seems kind of naive. And quick to get into bed with unsavoury characters whom he happens to share some common cause with.

…as the DUP have learned recently, Albion will ever be perfidious…Corbyn can spout all the aspirations he wants but history has shown that once in power these evaporate or remain just that…aspirations…

          1. bisted

…two things bud…firstly, I really hope your boy Boris wins and implements the will of the UK electorate expressed in the brexit referendum…and secondly, I’m not your mate…

Think of a Healey-Rae as Taoiseach and you’ll understand why so many people think the idea of Comrade Corbyn as PM is ludicrous.
Despite a private and grammar school education the man managed only two E’s in his A levels and failed to get into university.
He’s never held a proper job in his life.
He became leader of the Labour Party by accident and the dim-witted oaf has been manipulated ever since by his Marxist minders.

      +100%

Even the random masses of people in online comment sections are not buying it anymore… It’s actually making the tory “averice for the 1%” party(the organised group of british society most representative of racism, classism and discrimination btw )… look even far worse than before.

Along with further discrediting the Israeli / Zionism lobbyists who support Kevin(If his parents stayed in the EU) from Home Alone.. for the apartheid genocide of palestinians and state border expansion.

Corbyn, unlike the tory( actual extremist-casually-racist-classist scum )party, has kicked out all the Israeli / Zionist lobbyists and agents of bribery from the Labour Party and the Labour Youth organisation(other grass-roots union and social movements have woken up too) along with the pro-tory, pro-thatcherite, pro neo-liberal economic austerity war criminal blair-ite’s he had already kicked out, who had helped to create most of the problems in the first place.

He’s a decent man who has reformed the british labour party and by becoming british pm is about to seize back just some fairness and justice for the many not the few. It wil be good for us and the english speaking west and europe as a whole.

Ordinary decency has become either radical or inspirational because the system is so corrupted against all of us.

Look up ” The Lobby – Aljazeera Investigations ” on YT for a four part series that explains the whole cause of this fake anti-semitism as propaganda smear campaign.

It’s all about power and control and the main benificiaries are the tory agenda and Israeli zionist foreign policy.

It’s so much worse than people even realise. so much so, he can’t even publicly challenge it fully based on the facts because the public are not conditioned to handle it, the media are not inclined or obliged to report on it fairly and he will be taken down, ripped apart and evicerated shred by shred on all sides for uttering one wrong word that they are hoping he will be pushed into saying.

It’s bullying and treachary at it’s most sophisticated and intentional.

Look up Norman Finkelstein and Noam Chomsky both on anything to do with anti-semitism, israel vs Palestine, lobbying of israel, politics, history of it all and on Corbyn respectively and specifically.

Two of many good jewish people and repected intellectuals you can admire and trust to tell you the truth and are not afraid to speak truth to power and watch it crumble with intellect and not ignorance, fear, hatred and violence.

Since 1950 Labour have only been in government for about 17 years and even less if you deduct the wannabe tory blair years.. and all his war crimes. Corbyn opposed the war btw.

Ask yourself why, not even a close resemblence of a balanced sharing of power has existed between the basic moral conservativism and liberalism sides represented by the tory vs labour party’s and also why, have we not seen a real progressive alternative to this inequality in the past 70 years?..

It’s just as bad a system here in Ireland, when compared to britain I’m not even sure which is worse.
-Let us all know the definitive answer when you find it. I’m off to learn some chinese.

#JC4PM – Almost there.. an end of an era of corrupt economic austerity and intentional suffering for the poorest in society.. but how long will it last?.. Not long at all, if history is anything to go by, unfortunately for some of us in the 99%.

Deluded ramblings straight out of Student Politics 101.
        Dry your eyes,mate.
Corbyn’s chances of becoming PM are currently about the same as Ireland lifting the world cup.
        In any sport.

Glad you read my post and some truth to counter-balance the poisonous bile swimming around your head.. but no thanks, I’m not into pointless arguing and especially not with idiots about fake anti-semitism propaganda or politics..

I’ve already gone there with you and a number of your fellow tribalised deluded ignorant, pompous, blowhard, eejits with all your extremist morally conservative rhetoric and holier than thou classist attitudes allready…
          – If I see you talking crap again, spreading lies or propaganda and smearing anybody I’ll still call you out on it though… & I still think you should have put that rugby ball in your mouth until the next RWC.

Here’s some more truthful information for you to look at that explains another reason why Corbyn is not an anti-semite he’s just anti Zionist / Israeli state lobbying for it’s domestic and foreign policy. Whatever you think about his leadership skills.

If it’s a choice between a ” definitiive ” article taken from an ebook on an obscure website or the entire mainstream Jewish media, all the Jewish MPs in the Labour Party, leading Jewish figures in the arts, business and academia as well large numbers of ordinary Jews together the the Archbishop of Canterbury and British Hindu leaders I know who I’d choose to believe on the subject of anti-Semitism in the Labour party.
They can’t all be selling arms to Israel.

        1. Bud Flanagan

And nothing to do with the abuse and threats made against Jewish MPs ?
You’d think differently about this if you were Jewish.

          1. :-Joe

More lies and propaganda by the most unreliable tribalised comment poster on Broadsheet.

As f_lawless points out above there are no threats because there is barely even a real problem with anti-semitism beyond a small number of random individuals making offensive comments on social media.

Unfortunately for the muslims, the black community and many other ethnic minority groups, they don’t have a huge amount of political lobbying power and influence in british politics and they don’t have a long running agenda to manipulate the system for their own benefit as the Zionist / Israeli state has.

Corbyn’s Labour for human rights and equality for the many not the few is their worst nightmare and when elected I hope he finally puts them in their place and this nonsense to bed once and for all.

That man that won 105 Million on the Euromillions…..
If you won that amount would you go public?
    No you would not
Not if you have a brain

If you’re Jeremy Corbyn you know you’re in trouble when even the Guardian struggles to salvage anything from your car crash interview with Andrew Neil.

      1. Brother Barnabas

first giggidy wants to control who enters the country, now he wants to control who comments on BS

        where will it end ?!

        1. GiggidyGoo

This coming from someone who wrote openly here that he would have no problem engaging in illegalities. Any credibility you thought you had is shot BB.

    1. scottser

have you ever thought about sunning your your ringpiece charger? it might make you a more tolerable human being..

    2. Listrade

You know you’re in trouble when you think there’s trouble when a historically centrist and liberal newspaper that has never supported a left/socialist Labour leader doesn’t support a left/socialist leader and instead is favourable to a centrist liberal leader as it always has been and try and use that for internet points.

    3. :-Joe

      More lies and propaganda …

Andrew Neil is another pseudo-intellectual establishment for the 1% billionaire owned and controlled media mouthpiece… for the tory establishment.

Anyone watching him spout biased narrow-minded idiotic nonsense and taking it as useful information is deluded.

He’s morphine for the sheep who are deperate for an intellectual shepard to show them how to look smart and justify their corruption and delusional thinking because they can’t be bothered to educate themselves and evolve into a decent human being.

True conservatism is embarrassed by him.

      :-J

      1. Bud Flanagan

        Nah,he’s an equal opportunities hole-tearer.
He destroyed Sturgeon the night before Corbyn and he’ll do the same to Boris.

        1. :-Joe

Actually I have to hold my hands up, my mistake. I was confusing Andrew Neil with Andrew (blatent establishment tory propaganda mouthpiece) Marr.

Neil is too much of a bbc establishment insider but he’s far more objective and honest compared to the worst of them like Marr. It doen’t say much to feel better about though, to be fair.

          :-J

        2. :-Joe

On Kevin (If his family stayed in the EU) from Home alone…. Well, that’s how it seems but not exactly true. The establishment bbc bias is very sophisticated and so much so that people are often leed to think continuous biased reporting looks like equal fair criticism.

          :-J

          1. Bud Flanagan

” He’s morphine for the sheep who are deperate for an intellectual shepard to show them how to look smart and justify their corruption and delusional thinking because they can’t be bothered to educate themselves and evolve into a decent human being. ”

If you’re going to sneer at ill-educated people for being sheep you might at least learn how to spell the word shepherd.

          2. :-Joe

So petty, true to typical form of your style of commenting and unsuprisingly a weaker whataboutery, nit-picking response than usually expected…

You forgot to correct “deperate” for “desperate” and “leed” for “led” so you’re not good, focused or thorough at it either.

I don’t look down or sneer at anyone ordinary or decent, all that I can hope be myself, much less at someone who might not have had the opportunity of higher education. Plenty of people, some I’ve met and have known who are not “educated” through the system or even illiterate are worth listening to and don’t get enough attention, airtime or a big enough platform.

The people I am refering to above are people, possibly like you, who think they are educated and lean on people like Marr etc. to get their talking points from because while they are technically “educated” they are intellectually lazy and usually amplify the stupidity at some point.. So therefore you’re totally wrong again.. as per usual…

Apart from your difficulties with basic comprehension and understanding, you seem to have a problem with educating yourself out of your tiny narrow minded viewpoint in spite of the minor details, as you percieve them, known as evidence and facts.

I’m convinced you either just like prodding people for the attention or you enjoy pointless arguments because otherwise you really are looking more and more like a unique rare breed of stupid or are you just a troll?..

You might even be a very simple but technically sophisticated bot algorithm?.. I’m not sure which possibility is worse?..

            :-J

Brexit bad for the UK car industry, you say ?
Audi just announced 10,000 jobs losses in Germany I say.
