Today.
At the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin 4.
Taoiseach Leo Varadkar attended the American Chamber of Commerce Ireland Thanksgiving Lunch, sponsored by William Fry, during which former Irish president Mary Robinson was awarded the Distinguished Leadership Award.
Mr Varadkar is quoted as having told those present: “Dr Mary Robinson has always been ahead of her time, whether campaigning for gender equality, human rights, or climate justice, and continues to be an inspiration to so many.”
Good times.

Tell that to Princess Latifa.
HRH some old queen bans all ALL pictures and interviews from the current government (+ FF) until they make SOME sort of attempt at treating sick without health insurance.

William Fry has an immense influence on our decision makers who are afraid to tie their shoelaces without seeking legal advice!
Dr Mary Robinson how are ya.
Is that vanity on her part or just Varadkar being obsequious?
Presumably she failed the hostage mediation module of whatever distinguished leadership award its donors imagined that she merited. Maybe she made up for it in the ‘Positive PR for persons fending off allegations of sinister coercive control and abuse within the family milieu’ paper.
All true.
She excelled in the ‘maximum tax relief for donated old tat’ module as well.
