How big?
The Camden Bar, Camden Street Lower, Dublin 2.
Sarah Halpin writes:
Owned by the Murry Pub Group and powered by Samsung, The Camden Bar takes the Irish pub to the next level with its new multipurpose entertainment venue.
It features a massive 303″ Samsung LED video display, which is the largest pub screen in the UK and Ireland.
If the Samsung Wall wasn’t enough, the venue also features sixty-five Samsung 75″ displays and five 65″ Samsung displays dotted throughout the bar.
No matter where you’re situated within the venue, you’ll be sure to catch every goal, try and basket from multiple angles.
Three hundred and three inches.

Imagine a pint thrown at that “wall”
Stephen’s Day, 8.15 pm, 2nd Vardy goal.
did you find it within yourself to cheer on United ?
But of course, told you before, I don’t hate any team, I just love Liverpool.
do i recall correctly that you also have a sneaking appreciation for leicester? that might get awkward…
Only in their title winning season, that was a magical fairytale year… still like Brodge obviously
I was there shortly after they opened. Once anything white went on the screen, I thought my eyes were going to explode!!
Reminds me of the display in Busaras. You nearly get sunburn from some ads with lots of red!
Plus another great headline :)
Gross.
…thanks for the warning, my idea of hell…used to work just round the corner from there…thought the Bleeding Horse was bad…
Who watches basketball?
Greta says No!
in your FACE charger.
after brexit your tv will be as tiny as your ‘old chap’, while we bask in the magnificence of our 303-incher.
:P
Now that was funny
They need a theme tune for that bar.
it can only be ‘Sports’ by Viagra Boys, surely….

I will be sure to steer clear. TVs in pubs ruin the place.
EDIT: Ah for Fupp Sake, why am I STILL getting the bold boy warning?
Seriously, what the fupp?
I called in on my own a few weeks ago at around 3pm on a Sunday afternoon to watch a match and read the paper. It was full of hammered drunk aggressive 20-25 year olds that seemed like they were still going from the night before. I done a loop, admired the gigantic screen and continued down the road to The Swan
I got chatting to one of the bouncers while waiting for a bus outside and he suggested i had a look around. I did. it was an impressive set up, but I’d rather sit in a field with cans of beer than in a bar with a TV so it was a hellish vision of everything i hate in a bar. Give me the Swan or Against the Grain or the Long Hall or Underdog. I like a bar with No TV, and ideally no Music either, unless it’s a dedicated music bar.
