    The Critic’s cover is great. The 1920s were incredible – it’s almost inconceivable that this new decade could be equally roaring (for the right reasons). Always more interesting in hindsight I guess.

    But who’s that going up the stairs?

    @Bodger (and everyone, I guess) –

    There is a new podcast about Dublin history, ‘Three Castles Burning’, and their second episode is all about McDaid’s and Grogan’s, that whole scene, and even features a contribution from John Moynes – it’s pretty good, I recommend you all to go and give it a listen.
