   You really need to get your slot far in advance for lots of charities so it may be a struggle to find something. I’m all for volunteering, but charities need help all year round, try in January….

      I agree wholeheartedly. Getting out and being positive in January will help the needy far more than jaded do-gooders in December who will slope off early anyhow for booze and food.

         We’ll see if the feel-good factor disappears from the poster come the new year and they don’t feel like volunteering….

   They could probably use an extra pair of hands at the homeless lunch in the RDS.
