This afternoon.
Swan centre, Rathmines, Dublin 6.
The shuttered entrance to the ‘loss-making’ Fallon & Byrne store after the outlet was suddenly closed yesterday. Some staff claim they were told the store was being closed for ‘maintenance’.
The location was the company’s largest one, but it remains trading from two other outlets in Dublin city centre and Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin.
We are back, aren’t we?

They spent longer building that shop than they did trading in it. It leaves a huge hole in the swan centre. Maybe split it up into a few units?

Thanks Millie. Happy new year.
Ah here…
You too my friend!
It’s toast.
Place has shocking service not surprised it went bust
I’m surprised they didn’t give it longer, it’s only been two years. I’d have thought they’d factor in a few years’ loss making into their original calculations.
Their stores / restaurants remind me of classic modern airport outlets. Food very similar to what you’d find in Heathrow or something. Not great.
Why let all that food rot .when so many people hungry .
Someone needs to take a closer look at the financial affairs of this crowd.
There is a history of court action there too.
But expect an easy ride from the media.
