Almond milk requires almonds, which grow on trees with flowers, which require bees to pollinate them
If you’re trying to live dairy-free
But can’t think what to put in your tea
You could try almond milk
Or something of its ilk
But don’t say you’re a friend of the bee

mostly water anyway, better off with soya
or even better, oat milk
+1
And it is easy to make at home if you ever happen to run out.
oat milk fo’ lyfe.
Soy milk is a lot closer in nutritional profile to cows’ milk (if you were aren’t consuming animal products and need the protein).
But indeed, almond milk is sugar water – sugar water with a horrendous ecological footprint, no less.
But if you are making babies, better to err on side of caution say the NHS.
“Until then*, there is no harm in men who have low sperm counts who are trying to conceive and who are worried about their sperm counts falling further, limiting their intake of foods containing soya.”
*Until more research is done.

I’m sure you can provide us with a peer reviewed, non bullpoop, conspiracy laden rebuttal?
No? Quelle surprise.
Nut juice.
nut milk.
I’m vegetarian. I tried almond based yoghurt (from M&S – the pinnacle, apparently ) – it really wasn’t that great. I couldn’t imagine a cup of tea without a splash of dairy produce. Builders tea is how I take it.
Oatly for me in the coffee. Except when in Paris.
Or Sweden.
