Dreadful that a middle aged man was found dead with broken neck on the floor by his hospital trolley at Limerick university hospital. And the management trot out same crap line”patient confidentiality” blab, blab.
“Deeply ashamed” “Immediate steps taken that will prevent this happening again “would be the appropriate response.

Gas alright. The British media saying that Harry and Meghan are disrespecting the Queen. They obviously haven’t looked too closely at themselves, the media. Haven’t seen a similar outrage at programs on TV that disrespect her regularly, or cartoons that appear in the newspapers doing similar.

And, of course, the Boy Leo knows it all, having met Harry and Meghan once or twice.

The Boy Harris finally getting his vote of no confidence. He will no longer feel left out and can wave it around and say that he is now just as bad as Boutique Murphy.
‘Out of his depth’ is putting it mildly.

I see the UK press are bleating in unison that Iran shot down a passenger plane as it left Tehran airport with 79 Iranians on board. This is according to anonymous “western intelligence officials,” they say,, so who are we to wonder whether that narrative sounds a bit ridiculous? Those guys have an impeccable track record of keeping the public informed with the truth.

Funny too how Canada’s Varadkar and The US’s Trump, and others are harping on the ‘it may have been a mistake’ line. No evidence as yet to support that line. So why are they harping on it?

Perhaps they are pushing the ‘it may have been a mistake’ line now so that when if it transpires that it wasn’t an Iranian missile they can continue to use the ‘mistake’ line.

If it’s a “mistake” then surely sell them better radar and missile to prevent a dreadful re-occurence of such a tragedy…

CNN have a video which they claim shows a missile hitting the plane.

There are also pictures of missile fragments at the crash site.

You obviously haven’t seen the video of the surface-to-air missile hitting the aircraft which has been broadcast on TV around the world for the last few hours.
The ” mistake ” theory probably originates through intelligence and monitoring of radio and satellite communications.
Not because of what some bloke down the pub reckons really happened.

      1. GiggidyGoo

As if Iran has no technology to mute communications.
if it was as you say, then Canadian Varadkar and Trump would be telling us that it was for definite

Don’t you think if it was deliberate the Americans would be using that to raise the pressure on Iran ?
silly really is doing some hard work today.

Trump needs an out (as in an excuse not to attack Iran again) as he instigated the problems and is getting bad publicity.
Then again, I’m sure your european, not British holiday has refreshed you, and I bow to your expert opinion.

In Brexit news ( remember Brexit ? ) which was barely reported on the BBC and then only through gritted teeth the Withdrawal Agreement passed its third reading in the Commons yesterday with a majority of 99 and now goes up the the House of Lords for rubber-stamping.
Predictably and despite their shellacking in the election Labour voted against it. Those cretins still haven’t learned their lesson.
I’m planning a bit of a shindig for Jan 31st to celebrate Blighty leaving the EU but in an ongoing spirit of conciliation I shall be serving European wines exclusively.
Some good claret and a robust Spanish Tempranillo my wine merchant has recommended.
    Marvellous.

…wha…how quickly they forget…weren’t the BBC front and central in delivering the stonking majority for Boris…didn’t their girl Laura Kuensberg go above and beyond to ensure victory and the shekelling of Corbyn…
