The British Press will be disappointed. Not that it will deter them from makey uppy stories. They’d go bust without the Royal Family to fill their headlines.

Bad news for Paul Kehoe, if it’s true that Verona Murphy is going to run in the election. Though he is more than likely going to lose his seat anyway, as he has been an abject disappointment for the electorate in Wexford anyway.

no one cares about your parish pump begorrah shenanigans
Frankly your reply made no sense

Reported as being Ireland’s Greatest Comedian. People such as Brendan Grace, Niall Tobín, Dermot Morgan etc. etc. that would be far ahead in those stakes.
Currently working (in my opinion of course) as regards being funny, would be the likes of Pat Shortt, Brendan O’Carroll (not my cup of tea either, but funnier, and a lot more money made from being funny)

I’m sure he was a lovely man, but Brendan Grace’s comedy ranks among the least funny things I have ever witnessed – his whole routine was ‘hey I’m Bottler, isn’t that gas’ – but then there wasn’t any actual joke with punchlines, just him saying non-funny stuff, but in-character.

          “… Pat Shortt, Brendan O’Carroll “

Maybe this is an urban/rural, generational divide thing :p

bb Did you see his huff above when I told him no one cares about his parish pump love in?
I’d say he’s full baling twine

    Genuine question.
Who should I vote for it the coming election ?
I don’t see any difference in the political philosophy of either FG or FF.
Whilst I believe in a united Ireland I can’t vote for SF while it still remains under the control of the IRA Army Council.
And Labour have remained a joke even after that gombeen Pat Rabitte stepped down.

fg is for you charger, they are the most likely to reinstate the oath and look to commemorate the paras for the “good job” they did in the bogside in 72.
