People continuing to arrive half an hour after the Sinn Féin meeting in #Cork kicked off. Not far off a thousand people here now. Extra chairs were wheeled in, adding to the 372 originally put out and many people are standing at the sides and at the back of the hall. @rtenews pic.twitter.com/kQbwKTcd4y

Tonight.
At Rochestown Park Hotel in Cork.
Members and supporters of Sinn Féin attend a rally for the party, hosted by Sinn Féin president Mary Lou McDonald and Sinn Féin TDs Pearse Doherty, Eoin Ó Bróin and David Cullinane.

It’s deja vu.
The Irish equivalent of the Brexit Party.
The Shinners have adopted the Nigel Farage playbook.
And I voted for both.
My world is complete.
SF want to remove borders not create them :)
It’s not though.
Quick quick. Have Hugh O’Connell write something. Have Beaker write something. Drew, Drew!
Whadda we goin’ to do. Get Garda Reynolds on the job. Heelllllppppp!!!!
7000 new members.
The writing is on the wall for Leo and Michilín
Blue Hugh.
Aye, Hugh the boyo who likes to draw attention to tweets – but not his missus’ ones though.
You lot are all very giddy about your rally
Public meeting. Less of your Leo phrases. ROFL.
Is that not the hotel where the infamous Christmas party took place last year?
Boy o boy o boy. Wot larks.
The Infamous Broadsheet Christmas Do?
I wasn’t invited :(
‘Tis.
The clock strikes 9. B9

Heh
Look into the eyes
Look into the eyes
Don’t look around them
Look into the eyes
You are feeling very sleepy
And sleepier
And you’re now fully asleep
When you wake up you will no longer get your jollies by posting contrarian comments on media websites. You will instead take up knitting and excessive masturbation.
And you’re back in the room.
How do you feel?
slightly more relaxed and wearing a new scarf ?
They can have all the public meetings they want, but unless they get someone to go into government with them…
….Then we’ll have another election…then they wont need anyone to join them for Govt…no one of relevent standing.
and you can then thank the Irish MSM for the result….Sinn Fein 51%.Everyone else 49.
They would need to find the candidates first. At least double the number they have.
Then watch them split the SF vote and not get them all elected.
A lot of the ‘and not get them all elected’ going about these days. Started with Kenny, and added to by Varadkar. And that was with the FG normal number of candidates preening themselves and presenting themselves to be something they’re not. We all know how far FG have dropped, and how far SF has risen.
The smell of fear off you is overwhelming.
Well if there is another election and they do romp home, they then have a mandate. Not a quarter of a mandate…
Is there a full moon tonight?
There will be at lot more Public gatherings and they wont be all Sinn Fein, two weeks ago
the 2 main political parties, got a resounding kick in the posterior, they spent the last
4 years propping each other up and now spent the last couple of weeks avoiding the
obvious, agreeing to form a Government and then put their program for government
to the people and see what support it has, and if not give the Shinners the job, after all
they can hardly emulate the State Craft of either FF or FG for the last 92 years which has
been a disaster…….little wonder the Cork venue last night was overflowing
I’ve held work events in that ballroom, this seems Trump levels of inflated numbers. 600 maybe. but that’s only with all the seats taken
600 A-folk?
