No wonder sales of print media have dropped so low. And then the likes of the Indo think that people will pay to read drivel on their website.
Change is coming. The obvious carrying out by the MSM of the wishes of FFG to not report news shows up the reasons why SF are in the ascendancy.

Shortage of Pennys clothes due to the coronavirus. Oh no- less mid grey tracksuit bottoms so- every cloud has a sliver lining etc.

David McWilliams has been warning about a financial hit for quite some time now. Given the scale of China’s manufacturing base, it will be interesting to see what other goods will be affected- stock markets are already getting jittery,

Politically, China is a really interesting place- they successfully married capitalism and Communism without ever bothering with democracy. Proves the point- global corporations have no conscience.

Will post (eBay items for instance) from China be quarantined? It could be a carrier of ‘chemical’ warfare.

he’s a really good guy – way, way too principled though to have been a diplomat

i met him a few times when he was ambassador to uzbekistan- a position that he, quite admirably, struggled to square with his own personal sense of decency

+1, the set up at the time to have him removed from that post was a disgrace, nearly killed the man. He has done plenty of noble work since, particularly in highlighting the Saudi’s carry on in Yemen.

so all my pals have got letters asking them not to send their kids to school in Paris ( from creche upwards) for 14 days if the kids have recently returned from a list of countries, including Italy and China, so I guess that are starting to take it seriously in Paris

considering the government claimed the Chernobyl cloud stopped at the french border I’d find this worrying

          For my sins I Googled.
Couldn’t find Iraj Harirchi the hairdresser but the picture of Iraj Harirchi the cancer specialist at the Univertsity of Tehran looks very familiar.
