This afternoon.

Minister for Local Government Eoghan Murphy advised those in coastal areas to stay away from the sea. He said there was a risk of increased flooding, fallen trees and power outages and he advised people to monitor Met Éireann’s updates.

Met Éireann Head of Forecasting Evelyn Cusack said the wind warning “may be extended to across the Midlands and East for two hours tomorrow afternoon”.

    And they still haven’t heard of Microsoft ‘Teams’, Skype, E-Mail etc. etc. etc. Nope. A big day out for the lads to listen to the weather forecast, and have a nice coffee and biscuit. I’d say the Met people are embarrassed by this gathering of knops.

    Who remembers hurricane Charlie? We never have hurricanes any more just red orange or yellow storms
